1. Do all courts approve online traffic school?
No. Online traffic school is not yet approved by all courts. If our course was included in a list of approved traffic school courses that was given to you by the court, there is no problem - you may register and take the course right away! Otherwise, it is your responsibility to check with the court to determine if online traffic school is among the options available to you.
2. What is different about your online course?
Traffic school courses, both classroom and online, are required to cover certain topics related to the safe operation of a motor vehicle. While courses may sound similar because of the content, the difference is in the format of the course. Many online courses are broken into numerous chapters or modules, sometimes as many as twelve to sixteen! Our course is divided into just five easy-to-follow modules plus a final exam. In addition, our course contains colorful graphics, animations and photos to make the learning experience interesting as well as informative!
3. Why do you charge a fee? Didn't I already pay the court for traffic school?
All traffic schools, both classroom and online, charge a fee for their course. Some people are confused because, in addition to your traffic fine, the court charges a "traffic school fee" of approximately $29.00. This is actually an administrative fee charged by the court and does not cover the cost of the traffic school course.
4. How will the court know that I have completed the course?
Upon completion of the course, a completion certificate will be issued in your name. In some cases, we are required to send the certificate directly to the court, while other courts require us to send the certificate to the student so you can mail or take it to the court personally.
5. Do I have to use my own computer?
No. Using your username and password, you can use any computer with internet access to take the course.
6. Why can't I open the next module without finishing the previous one?
To make sure you get the maximum benefit from our course, you must finish reading the material and answer the quiz questions for each module before proceeding to the next.
7. My internet connection is unstable. How will this affect me?
If your internet connection is dropped, simply reconnect to the internet and log back into the course. The links on the Course Topics page will allow you to open the module that you were studying when the connection was dropped.
8. Why do questions appear from time to time during the course?
As a security feature in our course, the personal questions you were asked in the registration process will appear throughout the course. If the questions are answered incorrectly, you will be disqualified from the course.
9. What should I do if I am disqualified?
If you fail to answer the security questions correctly and are disqualified by the system, you must call our Customer Support Center in order to be reinstated. (888) 303-7233
10. My due date is very close. Can I expedite the mailing of my completion certificate?
Yes, for an additional fee. Please call our Customer Support Center for details on overnight or second-day mailing options.
